I drew inspiration from previous projects and forms that proved to be intriguing and served as a statement piece in a room. While designing this chair I wanted to achieve a unique design while staying consistent with a useable design.
i chose a mid-century modern inspired design with a reclining feature to create a comfortable and relaxing environment. THe goal i had for my chair was to create an aesthetic, simple, and intriguing form for the customer as well as create an accent piece for a room.
